Bring a Transformational Training to Your Community
Rooted in Functional Movement + Somatic Healing
About the Training
This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is more than just a certification—. Rooted in functional movement, somatic healing, and embodied practice, this training equips students with a yoga practice that is sustainable, inclusive, and deeply personal. Teaching is used as a tool for deepening one’s own journey and mastering knowledge. This re-organizing of the aim of a teacher training creates authentic, embodied teachers who speak with the wisdom of experience.
Somatic Emphasis: We integrate neuroscience, interoception, and nervous system literacy to develop attuned, trauma-informed teachers.
Functional Movement Lens: Move beyond aesthetics. Students learn to teach for how bodies function, not just how they look.
Ritual + Intuition: Beyond technique, trainees learn to craft classes that are emotionally resonant and soul-led.
Community-Centered: Our training builds a cohort of connected, self-aware, and supportive teachers.
Modern & Mindful: We blend evidence-based approaches with yogic philosophy in a way that is accessible and grounded.

The main documents used to establish a training at your home studio are the KBM Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Terms of the Memorandum which make the agreement site specific. There are samples of each here.
Sneak Peak
Embodied practices are best learned in collaboration—with other bodies, in real time, and in shared space.
That said, much of what we cover in person is also thoughtfully documented and made available on our private training site. This allows trainees to revisit material between sessions or during their integration process.
